Deborah Bleecker, LAc, MSOM is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas, since 1999. She has a Master Degree in Oriental Medicine, which includes acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine.
In 1995 she was injured at work, and suffered from chronic pain. Doctors told her that there was nothing they could do, that her pain was incurable. She had stabbing nerve pain in her arms, and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. That is basically where the shoulder muscles are so tight that they compress the nerves in the arms, which can cause you to drop things.
She is not one to accept the idea that there is no cure. This was in 1995, and 1996. Essentially before the internet. She had been reading in magazines that acupuncture could treat so many health problems, so she decided to try it.
She knew that modern medicine had nothing to offer her, and she knew there had to be an answer. If she did not stop looking, she would find it. She found a solution to her chronic pain, as well as horrible insomnia, and hormone issues.
A lot of people are walking around in pain, not getting enough sleep, are exhausted, and are generally miserable. Chinese medicine solves most health issues. In a month, you might not recognize yourself.
She started acupuncture school in 1996, in Austin, Texas. She was very blessed to have some of the best teachers from China. Dr. He, Dr. Wu, and Dr. Wang. She misses those days at school.
She passed the national board exams for Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Chinese Herbal Medicine in 1999.
Deborah wants everyone to know how Chinese medicine works, so they do not suffer for no reason. So she has written numerous books, which have been published all over the world.
The most recent book is about how acupuncture and acupressure can help people recover quickly after a stroke. Both of her parents had a stroke, and she was able to help them recover quickly using acupuncture, and other healing modalities.
