Deborah Bleecker, LAc, MSOM is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas, since 1999.
In 1995 she was injured at work, and suffered from chronic pain. Doctors told her that there was nothing they could do, that her pain was incurable.
After going through the experience of being in chronic pain, she decided that she wanted to work in the health profession.
She has written numerous books. She always wanted to have books that explained Chinese medicine to her patients, so she wrote them herself.
The most recent book is about how acupuncture and acupressure can help people recover quickly after a stroke. Both her parents had a stroke, and a stroke is one of the most devastating things a person go through.
