Hair Growth Can Be Improved with Chinese Herbs

If there is one thing that most people really question me on, it is that Chinese herbs can improve hair growth. When I tell them that, they almost always ask if they will grow more hair all over their body, like their hands. It seems unreal to them.

The answer is no, you will not grow extra hair on your hands. It could theoretically improve hair growth anywhere, but I typically just look at my head hair.

In Chinese medicine theory, the health of the hair is dependent primarily on the health of the kidneys. You might have heard of yin and yang.

A way to see it is yin is estrogen, and yang is testosterone.

The amount of hair is improved with estrogen, while testosterone makes the hair thicker. That is why men have thicker hair on their arms.

There is another thing to consider with the kidneys, that has no correlation to Western medicine theory. It is called kidney essence. It is the root of your kidney energy. When you have good kidney essence, you will live longer, and show fewer signs of aging.

In addition to improving hair growth, Chinese herbs can treat grey hair.

In about a month, after you start taking the right herbs for you, you should see new baby hairs sprouting in the front of your hairline, above your forehead. They are growing all over your head, but you can see them at the hairline if you pull your hair back.

The herbs that treat hot flashes also help improve hair, because they treat the kidneys.

If you would like to improve your hair growth, let me know. I will make sure you are on the right herbs.
